Ryan Jonathan Tanner is here!!

YaY!!
Ryan Jonathan Tanner is HERE!! Sunday night we got together for our monthly din din at my moms. We normally have a little family home evening but instead we were surprising Carley with a shower. We ate a delicious dinner and as we were cleaning up the dishes and getting ready to play games/open gifts Carley's water broke. We were SO EXCITED!! We talked them into leaving the girls at Grandma's for a first sleepover so we could play and they could do their thing without stress. Off they went to Layton to pack a bag and head to the hospital. We waited all night for the news but Ryan at 9 lb's 6 oz didn't arrive until 8:30 am on Monday morning. We saw him that afternoon and WHAT A HANDSOME LITTLE MAN!! He looks exactly like a Tanner baby with a whole bunch of dark hair. Abigale and Lydia were so excited! Lydia walked in and said; "Oh Mom, You got a baby!" Ha ha haaa! They were so cute being protective and obsessive with their new baby brother. We are thrilled to finally have a boy to spoil!
Congrats JT & Carley! We are so happy for you!!

A taste of Cancun--

We enjoyed a night on the town with Jar and Trish. Nothing like good friends with some good food along with laughing until it hurts. These two boys can make any time a good time.

FIRST surgery at 54! Woot! Woot!

Before it all began...

That's right-- Daddio has enjoyed 54 fabulous years without a single surgery. The man has been by the side of all six of his kids MULTIPLE surgeries but some how slipped through the cracks of surgery. Today the roles were finally reversed! Padre is an avid, competitive, determined, hard-core athlete. There is no such thing as bad weather, pain, second place or limits. He went out on his usual Saturday ride of 65 miles on his road bike with his crew. They were enjoying a grand ol' morning until the boyz hit a mud slide and all went down. Dad flew over his handle bars hitting a fence post. All the guys ended up with pretty severe injuries. Just like a tough son of a gun, he spent the weekend waiting for the pain to subside. After a visit to Dr. Beck our family orthopedic surgeon dad needed surgery asap. He shattered his clavicle into pieces! Lou, Mom and I thoroughly enjoyed being at the bed side of Dad. He was a crack up coming out of anesthesia. Who knew a little morphine is all you need to a family secret tell all sesh! Doc placed 10 screws to hold the sucker together and he was ordered to some serious R & R! We sure LOVE you Pops!!

Check out these hot items! I always wondered how the padre would look in white tights & purple socks.

The delicious food of a battered man...
The man finally awakes....
AND HE'S A SURVIVOR! Off to some serious physical therapy!

CRAFTastic!

Shan and I decided we would make head bands a couple weeks ago for our craft project of the week. When I say decided-- she really gave me a lesson! Since then it has turned into a much larger project than anticipated. At the beginning I wanted one and there was NO WAY I was going to spend money on something I knew I could make with a little finagling! This week one of my skin care clients came over for a microderm and saw the head bands. She loved them and insisted on taking them to her salon and a friends boutique. They were a hit and since then I have been the headband queen.
These are THE BEST when you are feelin' a pony which is an every day occurrence for me.

Here are a few, they turned out Pretty Dang Cute -- if I do say so myself!!
